· Data Collection:
At booking we will ask for:
Name, address, email, telephone number; information on who will stay at the cottage (numbers of adults, children). Payment is taken by bank transfer and is secure through RBS.
· Purpose of Data Use:
This information is used to secure the booking, enable communication at booking, lead up to entry and post booking if issues arise. It is used to inform the cleaning company of the number of guests and what to expect. It also informs the provision of welcome packs to the cottages.
· Data Security:
Information is stored on our booking system with BookALet and in Xero (our invoicing provider).
· Data Retention:
Data is retained for future bookings and is kept on a rolling basis for 7 years. You can request to have your information deleted anytime post-stay.
· Data Sharing:
Data will not be share to third parties and those promoting other services. We may be obliged legally to provide information to the police should any occurrences transpire.
· Guest Rights:
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability.
